We have discussed the energy quality of the food affecting your health. Obviously, a meal made with love tastes a lot better than food made with anger. Remember when you went to family Thanksgiving dinners and everybody brought something to the meal. It always tasted better and emotionally felt better than even the most delicious luxurious food from take-out. There is a lot to be said for "Grandma's' cooking, even if it was the most simple boring dish around. It was always made with love and you could taste it!
We need to show gratitude for our food. Give thanks for the plant that grew your veggies, for the animal that created those chicken wings. Say a short blessing or thankful words before you chow down. And most importantly, try to eat organic and local farmers' foods as much as possible. An apple fresh off the tree yesterday is going to have more nutrition and taste better than the apple from 3000 miles and a week's truck ride away.
Choose wisely. Your health depends on it.
